This idea came about in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992 by artists Andy Howell and Johnny Schillereff who founded it under the name Underworld Element, a sports brand that was perfectly suited to the use of the board. By 1994 Johnny Schillereff decided to abolish the Underworld and move the brand to California by simply becoming Element.
Element clothing is characterized by its highlighted logo, a tree surrounded by a circle, which we love so much. The symbol represents the four elements of life, hence the name.
